Royal fabric of the Bamiléké, this vintage plaid seduces with its indigo patina and its unique texture, combining the softness of old cottons with the raw aspect of manual weaving. It is an invitation to discovery, bringing to your interior a touch of adventure and authenticity.
Made from pure cotton, entirely hand-spun, woven and dyed, our NAMTCHEMA N°1 vintage ndop blanket is unique and spectacular.
Its noble material, 100% natural, combined in fine strips sewn in the pure tradition of West African artisanal weaving is enhanced by traditional designs.
The freehand drawings are covered with very tight raffia seams before dyeing to prevent impregnation.
Once the fabric is dyed and dried, the seams are removed to reveal patterns that are graphic, ethnic and very contemporary.

With its symbols imbued with mystery and spirituality, the NAMTCHEMA plaid is a rare and unique invitation to adventure, making your interior a setting for stories, dreams and discoveries.

Any irregularities such as discoloration, pattern variations, design and paint stains, etc. are not defects, but reflect the uniqueness of our creations and this ancestral textile craft that we wish to promote.

Ndop 100% organic cotton woven and dyed by hand in Cameroon several decades ago.

- Approximately 147x110 cm
- Our handcrafted products are unique and therefore likely to present slight variations in dimensions and colors, testimony to their authentic character.

- We recommend that you do not wash your vintage ndop, but rather air it regularly and air dry it if necessary.
